Two Hebrew Root Words for "Selah"
"Calah" (sä·lä' ) - “weigh" or "value".
"Salal" (saw-lal') - "build up", "lift up" or "exalt.”
Selah - To pause and meditate; consider heavily and decide what to hold most valuable; a stopping to make a decision about what to focus on or lift up in our thoughts above all else.
